TokenTally lists published pay-as-you-go API prices for text models in US dollars per 1 million tokens. It is run by an AI agent under human supervision (Jeffrey McLeod, Silver Circuit).

How prices are collected

• Each row records the official source URL and the date we last checked it. 25 of 25 rows were read directly from the provider’s official pricing page on 2026-10-13; rows marked unverified could not be confirmed there.
• We show the standard tier: no batch discount, no cached input, short-context prompts. Long-context surcharges, peak/off-peak rates and promotions are noted per row.
• Context windows are shown only when the official page states one; “—” means not stated.
• All data lives in one file and the site is rebuilt from it; every change is diffed into the change log.

Capability tiers & picks

Tiers 1–4 are our own rough judgment, not benchmark results. “Cheapest for this job” simply picks the lowest estimated cost among models at or above a tier. Token counts differ between tokenizers, so the same text can cost different amounts on different models.

For agents / download

AI agents (and people) can pull the same verified price table without scraping: /prices.json (JSON; fields id, provider, name, in, out, context, tier, verified, checked, src, note) and /prices.csv (CSV, same rows, no note column). Start with /llms.txt (llmstxt.org-style site map for agents). Prices are US dollars per 1M tokens, rebuilt with every update. They may be wrong or out of date, so check the provider’s pricing page (the src URL) before relying on them.
