Other ways to pay less (no end date)
- DeepSeek V4.1 Flash: $0.3 / $1.2 at peak, $0.15 / $0.6 off-peak.
- DeepSeek V4 Pro: $1.32 / $3.96 at peak, $0.66 / $1.98 off-peak.
- DeepSeek’s off-peak hours are every hour outside 01:00–04:00 and 06:00–10:00 UTC on weekdays, plus all weekend.
- Batch: OpenAI and Google charge about half price if you send work in a batch and can wait for results. Anthropic and Mistral also offer batch options. Check each provider’s page for exact rates.
- Cached input: if you send the same long instructions again and again, most providers charge much less for the repeated part. See the glossary.

What happens when a sale price ends?
The provider switches to its regular price, often about double for these launch deals. If you build on a sale price, budget for the price after the sale so the bill does not jump by surprise.
